Yasmin is supposed to be slightly better than other cheaper alternatives, which have made my friends gain around 10kgs, but even then you'd still gain at least 5-8kgs like I did. It makes you bloat and retain water, and increases your appetite especially for sweet foods. However it is an effective Birth Control pill and also makes your skin look beautiful, also I found that the majority of the weight gained was actually in my chest, which is always a good thing :)
