Ipod is wayyyyyy better ipod has messenger and you-tube dsi only has good games but both are touch screens and ipod is easier to use dsi is for little kids ipod also has downloadable game and more memory and you can put music in it and other stuff dsi stinks!!!
Why arnt there free ipod games when there are free iPhone and touch apps?
because there are a lot more ipod touch apps than the regular ipod games and apple doesnt make all the apps but they have to put more effort into the ipod games than the ipod touch/iphone apps.

Yes. You can get games from itunes for the classic. The games are a lot more fun on the ipod touch though, because you can only use those buttons to play the the games on the classic. If you want an ipod mainly to play games on it, get the touch.

It would depend on what the person would use it for. While both have a music player, the i pod touch is supperior in the music department. The Dsi has cool downloadable content, but the I pod touch has the apps. I would only get the Dsi if I didn't have a DS lite, but since they play the samee games, I would stick with the i pod touch. IPOD TOUCH!!!!!!!! It has faster internet, better games, lots of Apps, music, videos, and more!
