80% of nicotine is broken up by the enzymes in the liver, Its similar to alcohol consumption - the less effective the liver is the longer the effects of the nicotine last and less a smoker would feel compelled to smoke - the liver’s ability to detoxify dangerous substance is diminished. Smoking therefore worsens alcoholic liver disease.

Yes. All pollutants, whether inhaled (like smog or pot), ingested (like beer or food with additives) affect the liver. It is our CLEANER! Take Milk Thistle every day, and don't worry about it. OH! but watch for da feds.. snot legal in CA ya know! lol Pot dat is..

^^ Don't know who this retard is but he obviously needs to go back to school and learn the human anatomy.

Smoke inhalation effects the lungs and respiratory system, not your liver. Your liver only filters the liquids and solids through your system, no smoke. It does NOT damage your liver or any other part of your body, other than minor damage to the lungs, which is not enough to cause serious illness.

The Propaganda against Marijuana is all about money. If Big Pharma can't make money off of it, it can't be legal. But they can produce a synthetic THC reagent that they put in a drug called Marinol, (which is nothing more than a placebo), but this in no way gets you the feeling that smoking does.

no the marijuana just targets the memory cells had has nothin to do with your liver.

^^ Is this person for real? lmao!!

No it doesn't effect your liver in any way. And it doesn't target brain cells either. This answer above obviously came from someone who buys into the propaganda of marijuana being so horrible for the world.

Other than some minor damage to your lungs, because of smoke inhalation, you will not damage ANY part of your body INCLUDING your brain cells. I still think that is the most retarded answer one can give about this question.

Not too much. It mainly screws with your brain and lungs. But it's not great for you anyways, tell you that.

Alcohol messes up your liver.
