Depends where you're getting it pierced and what your pain threshold is.

If it's just lobes, they shouldn't hurt much at all, alteast mine didnt.

if it's cartilage, it's going to hurt a lot more.

And avoid piercing guns ( the people who use them aren't really piercers... and terrible for ears and other piercings)
