Does getting a tattoo on your arm hurt?

First, all tattoos hurt :) The degree varies with where it's placed, and your body's sensitivity in that area. That said, the forearm and wrist are generally less painful areas than, say, the spine or ribcage.

It depends on your pain tolerance. Mine weren't too bad, but I know some people that fell asleep when theirs were done. Also, sometimes people have a higher pain tolerance on one side of their body than the other. The tattoo on my right arm hurt worse than the one on my left. All in all, they aren't too bad in my opinion. I have one on my spine and one on the inside of my wrist as well, and my arms hurt the least.

as a good rule of thumb, all tattoos hurt, but yes it would because it would be near a major blood sream and an artery, also because there is less available space to insert ink between your skin and your bone.

It can hurt depending on where the tattoo is placed. Pain tolerance can vary from person to person when it comes to tattoos, some people feel it more then others.

If it goes over the bones in the wrist or closer to the palm of the hand then it can be pain full. If it's off to the side of the bones then the pain isn't too bad.

I've heard finger tattoos can be pain full. The closer the bones are to the skin the more sensitive it is to tattoing. If you really want it then man up and get it done.
