Yes you still can.
An "outtie" typically refers to a protruding navel or belly button. It is the opposite of an "innie," where the belly button is concave or inward. Some people have outties due to the way their umbilical cord was cut or based on their genetics.
OUTIE!
Innie
she has a belly button i saw her in a bikini.its an outtie.
Yes....yes she does
Approximately 10-20% of the population have outtie belly buttons due to differences in how their umbilical cord was cut and healed after birth.
Beyoncé Knowles has an innie belly button.
Yes it will return to normal. My husband had the surgery and his was back as a innie immediately after the swelling went down. Good as new.
This is because the womb (and baby inside the womb) is putting pressure on the mothers abdomen. This pressure causes organs and the belly button as well to push forward causing the belly button to temporarily be an "outtie". Think of it like blowing up a balloon. When the balloon is completely full of air, the tip of it has a little "bump" on it because of the air pressure inside the balloon pushing it out.
You certainly do not need to get your belly button pierced if you have an outtie.....The pressure against the jewelry will cause the jewelry to eventually migrate...You may get 2 months or two years out of it, but my bet is on the two months....One day you wil be in the shower washing your belly button and you will feel your jewelry in your hand, no blood, no pain, and no piercing....If your piercer is straight up and honest he will tell you these things.....Hope this helps...
Well most professional body piercers won't pierce "outie" navels because of the irritation the piercing will be subjected to. This generally leads to migration and rejection. Find something else to pierce.
