In the book I'm looking at, it doesn't distinguish between the 2. (I'm not that familiar, just looking in a book (gun list standard catalog of firearms) sidenote- It says your BSS sidelock (and there are several different types of BSS guns) was actually manufactured in Korea b/t 1983 and 1987. Miroku produced guns were imported and produced by a variety of companies such as Charles Daley, Browning, Winchester, and SKB. No actual guns are listed Miroku B.C. brand guns. If one gun says Browning made in Japan, and the other gives the Miroku brand name on the gun, but both are made for Browning, then I think you just are looking at different production years. Hope this helps. -Rick Yes. The sidelock is recognized as a better action than a boxlock. Also, the boxlock came in a plain field grade while the sidelock came with better wood and engraving.

What is value of browning auto 5 20 gauge shotgun?

The light twenty in good used condition is worth around $900. If it is in really nice shape it could be worth over $100 or higher if you find the right buyer. But the whole Browning Auto-5 line is unbeatable in my opinion, some of the most reliable, smooth shooting shotguns. They will outperform most shotguns that are being produced today. I don't recommend selling any Auto-5.

Did browning make a sweet 16 with gold engraving on the receiver?

Are Charles Daly over-under shotguns a good buy?

Older Charles Daly o/u shotguns were mfg. by Miroku in Japan until the mid-70's, when Miroku began mfg. the Citori for Browning. These Charles Daly shotguns are one of the best bargains out there in a quality used o/u shotgun. They can be found for $500 to $700 for a good used 12 ga. with asking prices for higher grade guns in near new condition approaching $1,000. The later ones of Italian mfg. are more expensive, but are also solid guns. As for the Turkish Dalys, I have no experience with them.

When was victor sarasqueta shotguns produced?

The firm of Victor Sarasqueta was founded in 1883 and received a Royal Warrant as a purveyor to the King of Spain in 1902. The firm concentrated primarily on side by side double shotguns of British design. Boxlock guns of Anson & Deely pattern and sidelock guns of Holland & Holland pattern were produced. Don Victor's firm also built a sidelock action over & under shotgun which appears similar to the British Woodward action. The company also produced SxS double rifles in African calibers for dangerous game. A single barrel sidelock action trapgun was offered during the 1950's. Following World War 2, many Eibar based gunmakers, including Victor Sarasqueta, engaged in volume production of guns which were built to a price required by North American importers and major sporting goods retailers. Throughout its history, the firm continued to produce higher quality bespoke guns according to a client's personal specifications for weight, stock dimensions, barrel length, choke, rib type, etc. The top of the line Models 12E and 206E featured elaborate deep chisled engraving on the frame and breech end of the barrels. Other models featured traditional Churchill, Holland or Purdey engraving patterns. The 1970's and 80's saw a major downturn in business for Spanish gunmakers. During this time, Victor Sarasqueta, S.A. was reorganized as Victor Sarasqueta Rifles y Escopetas Especiales, S.A. A number of models were discontinued and the production range was reduced to two boxlock models and eight sidelock shotgun and three sidelock double rifle models. In the mid-1980's, the firm became part of the ill-fated Diarm group which tried to consolidate several Spanish gunmaking firms into one company. The Diarm firm closed their doors in the late 1980's ending a chapter in Spanish gunmaking. The Victor Sarasqueta firm should not be confused with the firms of J.J. Sarasqueta or Felix Sarasqueta, both of which survived the 1980's. VS7E

Are airsoft multi-shot shotguns more popular or are single-shot more popular?

This question depends on what you want. Most people like 3 round burst shotguns for cqb because less aiming is required allowing you to jump out from cover and fire fast enough to not get hit. For outdoors single shot shotguns are generally preferred because they shoot farther, are more accurate, and have higher fps. So it just depends on where you play or what play style you have.
