It doesn't ! I've been taking anti-depressants for about 8 years and I haven't gained any weight !
You don't take depressants. You take anti-depressants, which counters being depressed.
no.
No. You may be gaining weight due to the meds and that makes breasts larger because of the weight, but they don't enlarge on their own. This is decided by the body and hormones.
They often do. However some people when depressed don't feel like eating and lose weight, as their mood improves while taking antidepressants their appetite returns they eat more and gain weight. Did the antidepressants make them gain weight, or did the antidepressants just allow them to eat normally and regain their normal weight (which some people dislike).
Anti-depressants work differently for everyone but whenever I took it it made me lethargic.
I have experimented with anti depressants and have done alot of research and yes , all anti depressants will interfere with your regular periods. It can cause really , heavy bleeding for a few days , make you have longer periods , cause a missed period. Now , being off all anti depressants will bring your cycle back to normal but that takes a few months and of course treating your body right by exercising and eating healthy.
Absolutely. Mood stabilizers are the worst (like Abilify), but some anti-depressants and anti-psychotics can do it, too. Which meds?

Well if you are a teen anti depressants are more likely to make you depress even more, but remember usually they take weeks to cure you depression if you just started taking them???
