Yes, any piercing will leave a permanent, irreversible hole in your body, with time it will fade and may eventually look like nothing more than a freckle, but yes it will leave a hole that if you allow your piercing to heal properly will be there until the day you die. No piercings necessarily leave permanent holes. If you remove your jewelry, they will close over time. I have had a ton of piercings, a few that I have retired, and the holes are now closed. Your body is a healing machine that is constantly working to heal your cuts, sores, scrapes, and yes, even piercings.
I don't have my nose pierced(but am considering it), but yes, nose piercings usually do leave a permanent hole. This is a bit off topic, but many employers will not hire individuals with facial piercings, no matter how qualified they are for the job. Just think before you commit to the procedure.
Let's clear the confusion up with this so everyone understands. All piercings are permanent (they will leave a mark once they have healed and have been removed, there is no way around this, other than not getting a piercing). Now the piercing being surface or a dermal anchor they will all leave a mark so you need to make a decision before you get the piercing done. Do you want marks left behind from the piercings? If you are fine with the "Yes" answer then get your piercings and look after them correctly. If your answer is "No" then rethink you piercing plans, because once you break the tissue it's a done deal, it's a permanent life time mark you can't remove regardless of what someone else may say. Piercings are not for a month or a couple of weeks you need to decide that you are going to keep the piercing till it migrates out or you finally change your mind about it and remove the jewellery. Then when you decide to take it out be ready to leave it out and carry on with life. there is no non permanent surface piercings they will all leave scars and you need to be ready to live with that fact before you get a piercing.
Do you just mean a lip piercing? Piercings aren't considered to be permanent. So yes, you can remove it whenever you'd like. Theres a chance that it'll leave a scar, but it should be pretty small unless there are complications :)
You will probably end up getting a lecture from the Orthodontist about how the dimple piercings could effect the saliva ducts inside your cheeks and the potential damage the piercings will cause to your teeth ( not to mention how the piercings will leave permanent scars on your face ). But once they have done that they can still do the braces, however they may make you remove the jewellery for your appointments. Unlike other oral piercings around the mouth (lip, labret, Monroe, Madonna, Medusa and tongue) next to nothing is known about dimple piercings other than the high probability of damaging saliva ducts, deep blood vessels and nerves. Most experienced professional body piercers stay away from dimple piercings due to the high risk factors. These risk factors should have been discussed in detail to you before you got the piercing done, if there was no discussion about the risks, then you clearly didn't see a professional body piercer. Your Orthodontist will provide more information to you about the facial structure and what other problems you may encounter in the future due to the piercings.

Wash the piercings with antibacterial soap and warm water and leave the piercings alone. The bleeding will stop once the tissue clots up.

If you've had your nose pierced long enough for the piercings to be healed, then no, it will not close in 24 hours. You can even leave the ring out even longer if the piercing is completely healed. BETTER ANSWER Ok now it depends on you. It's different with diffrenet people. I had my nose pierced for like a year and if i leave it out for an hour it will close. And i had my ears pierced when i was 4 now im 13 and if i leave my earings out for more than an hour the holes will close. Oh yes.
