I know of NO model 583C made by Daisy, but they did make a powerline 853C Legend EX. If this is the rifle you are asking about then re-post the question with the condition of the rifle, is it still working? is it in Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair or Poor condition and I will try to give you an estimate of value.
The Phantom is a single shot, single break barrel Pellet rifle rated at 1000 FPS that cost around $90. It is a true pellet rifle. Deigned for target and hunting. The Daisy 901 is a combo BB/Pellet rifle that is a 10 pump for a maxim 750 FPS. and cost around $63. Designed for plinking and fun. Personally I have never been a fan of Combo rifles ( But that is my opinion )
See the attached Link for the owners manual.http://www.daisy.com/sites/default/files/manuals/880_web_manual.pdf
Only if the rifle is designed for pellets. If it is a "Red Ryder" then the answer is NO. Daisy makes PELLET rifles.
I have researched this model and can not find any Daisy m2001 powerline. They did make a model 2003 that fired 35 rounds. it was made between 1995 and 2001. It was semi automatic. But it was a pistol not a rifle. If this is your pistol I suggest that you contact Daisy directly (800) 713-2479 and ask for an owners manual.
The Daisy BB RIFLE model 1000 was made from 1957 to 1958. (Western Auto)The model 1000 Powerline was made from 2009 to 2011The model 1000 Pellet rifle was made starting 1997 and Discontinued
Daisy made a model 120 pellet rifle from 1984-85. It was made of by El Gamo of Spain.
The Daisy Powerline is a BB and Pellet rifle not a BB gun. It is rated at 625 FPS. It is designed for plinking and fun, not hunting. But is is capable of killing small rodents. However I suggest you use "Hollow Point pellets" if you are going to hunt rodents not BB's. BB's do not deform when they hit a target and the rodent will suffer before death. Hollow point pellets make a clean kill.
Buy the best you can afford
750 or up will take it down in one shot, but I have taken one down with a 450 fps but I had to shoot it a couple times. it mostly depends on shot placement. A good choice would be a chrossman 760, daisy powerline 880, or just about game pellet rifle.
It's a 16 shot BB repeater or a SINGLE shot pellet rifle
I suggest you search the web for "Air gun repair" and locate someone near you to repair the rifle. See the link below.
Yes it is. It is a single shot .177 pellet rifle. It is not a BB rifle.
