you cant leave it out too long if your going to just try and stick it in every once in a while too make shure its still open but the retainers work greaT
If you take out a piercing early, the skin will heal.
Ive had my lip piercing done for 3 1/2 weeks, I ordered a lip retainer when school told me to take out my metal stud. I went to my trusted piercer and ask them to put in my retainer , they had mega trouble getting it in (even with Vaseline ) and told me to go home and try in a couple days after the piercing was less irritated ( during my time at the piercers , my piercing went red, and swollen) ... The next day I sea salt soaked it, and rubbed alot of vaseline on my piercing and the retainer , it slipped in after 2 tries... About half an hour my piercing wasn't red , and the swelling went straight down again . I think retainers are excellent ... My piercing is healing alot quicker then my sisters lip piercing ( shes always had metal bars) . Just be careful not to irritate it, have a couple attempts and if not going in then leave it till the next day. But overall , go for it! First off, don't use vaseline. Its WAY too thick and prevents proper ventilation so it actually makes things worse. You can use vitamin E oil as lubrication instead. Glass or bioplast retainers are fine o use because they can autoclaved. Go to yourpiercer and they should have some in stock.
No, sadly, if you have a reputation of having a peircing in your facial area, you are inqualified for working in Police Foundations. It's stupid, but that's the way it is.Another View: (in the US) If the piercing is not apparent when the ornament is removed then, much like ear piercings, if it is not worn while on duty, it would most likely be acceptable.
Every piercing has a different aftercare routine so it really depends on the piercing.
Well when you get tired of the piercing you can take it out any time it's up to you.
the only time you would have to take a piercing out is if your body is rejecting it or it is getting infected
yes its totally save to take a shower with your nose piercing in
It really depends on the type of piercing and long you've had the piercing.
They are if you have short hair
It depends on how fast your body heals, and how long you have had the piercing. The longer you have had the piercing, the longer it will take to close. This is true for all piercings.
Nope, i've had my tongue pierced, and i didn't have to take my lip piercing out.
