Absolutely, if you've skipped one period go ahead and take the test if you suspect a pregnancy. You might get a chemical pregnancy result though, where you get positives at first but a failed implantation would give later negative results. Keep in mind Ovarian cysts, Tubal pregnancy will show up positive as well. Good luck testing hope you get the answers you seek.
Yes, that is a possibility. One skipped period is of itself not a certain indication of pregnancy, but it's one explanation for the missed period. Consider a pregnancy test.
Most over the counter pregnancy tests will show a pregnancy the day of your skipped period. However I believe there are a few more expensive ones that will be able to determine up to 5 days before the skipped period. hope this helps.
This is usually caused by irregular periods which are quite common. Its also advisable that you rule out pregnancy by performing a pregnancy test. See your Doctor for a evaluation.
ASAP. Especially if you've already missed a period. Many of the newer meters can detect pregnancy before the first missed period. (or so they say)
If u already been pregnant before ...that dont happen over night.
It's a sign of your period coming soon. However, if you miss your period, take a pregnancy test
can you get pregnant if you have sex at the end of your period
It depends on the pregnancy test really, the newer ones can tell you that you're pregnate i think a week before you missed period, but if you've already missed your period any test should be able to tell you.
Missed period can be a sign that your pregnant, you might want to get a pregnancy test. A missed period can be caused by other factors other than pregnancy such as stress, excessive exercising and dieting.
yes you can do it
Typically no. A fetus normally develops a heartbeat at around 18 days, this would normally be 4 days or more after the first skipped period. The timing would be: day 1 menstrual cycle; 14th day ovulation. assuming you get pregnant on this the earliest day of the cycle possible, its 14 more days (28 total) until menstrual cycle (typically skipped), and than 4 more days until heartbeat development (18 after ovulation if pregnancy occurred the same day). However, every women is different and the average timing will not apply to everyone. Also of note is that it is possible to have a menstrual cycle even after being pregnant. This can happen if the pregnancy is just before menstruation but where the egg was still able to attach itself safely and is not flushed. In cases like this you may not realize you are pregnant until the following menstrual cycle is skipped, in which case you've already passed the 18 day incubation period and the baby would have a heartbeat prior to the skipped period. But timing wise you'd already have passed a menstrual cycle with the child prior to this.
It could just be that your periods haven't become regular yet. If your period has been regular for a while, then you have to look at the possibility of pregnancy. If that is not the case, you may have just skipped a period because of stress, over-exercise, or a change in your diet. If it continues to be a problem for you, go see a doctor.
