Yes you can smoke marijuana. Whether it is legal for you to do so depends upon the laws in your area.

It is most commonly smoked as a joint (rolled up in paper like a cigarette) or through a pipe or water pipe (bong). You can also ingest it by eating it in brownies or other foods, or drink it made into tea (hot or cold).

Another way that many people who use medical marijuana administer it is with a vaporizer, which is less harmful to the respiratory system than smoke. The marijuana is heated to the proper temperature to vaporize the THC, the vapor/gas is then inhaled.

In the USA you need a medical marijuana card (don't know real name) to legally smoke and have marijuana.

Probably, but why would you want to smoke the marijuana root? I suspect you could smoke potatoes*. But why? C. sativa has been around very long time. There's lots of literature and history about its use. The web has pages and pages on how to bong it, smoke it, roll it and bake it; there's information about how to grow it. Dispite its popularity, it really does have some problems with its use. It does have some fairly nasty potential side effects. But smoking the root? As much as I appreciate frugality and the Yankee dictum " Use it up, wear it out, do without" it seems to me that root smoking is a bit untraditional and totally outside of the historical uses of the hemp plant, as a consumable and not just for making rope. As much as I admire the guy who first drank mead, from a stump in a rainforest, with only a bunch of drunken bees about to guide him, I suggest that you do something other than try to smoke marijuana roots. (Your notion sounds like a first to me, in other words.) Have you considered baking your own bread? The smell of yeast working, the sight of bread rising, the feel of kneeding and baking really made a diffierence in the life of John Lennon. You know, he was in Sir Paul's band before Wings and before Paul was a Sir. In short, this notion of smoking marijuana roots, just does not seem to be a winner. *That's a tuber, by the way, not a root.

I don't understand why you would want to. Theoretically it's possible I guess.....just as possible as smoking normal brownies, but still.....why not just eat it? You'll get much higher and I'm sure it'll taste better.

You can smoke the seeds, although if they're not crushed they'll pop like crazy, but you wont get a high on them. A headache maybe but not a high.

You can smoke anything you want to put in a pipe and lite. You smoke the buds of marijuana, the leaves near the buds are more commonly used for cooking or hash production

Yes you can, but they are very weak and not worth the effort and stress on your lungs, unless of course that's all you have!

Yes, but it doesn't produce as much smoke so it barely does anything.
