Yes you can. I have shot some in my dads Rem 7400. If you do shoot it. treat it likes it is corrosive and clean the gun promptly and properly.

Yes. All firearms will exhibit a preference for certain loads. The only way to find out it to buy as many different brands in different bullet weights as you can afford and shoot them. The rifle will shoot one better than the others. Sometimes you get lucky and it likes a wide variety.
