Not advised.
Only if you wanna blow your thumb off,get blind,or mess up your gun....The .22 LR's case is smaller in diameter,so when you pull the trigger the case is going to swell instantly to fit what is supposed to be a .22 Mag chamber, and then split, releasing a flash of hot gasses and case fragments straight at you and your guns chamber and bore.Firearm cartridges although small create a lot of pressure to push a bullet down a barrel,(Think of it as driving a rail road spike into a screw hole, its all about pressure)even the .22 LR is capable of pressures up to 5,000 psi...Dont Do It!!!!...You can however buy revolvers that have 2 cylinders(1 for .22lr and 1 for .22mag),that are interchangeable. Then you can beat the high ammo prices....
2. The .22 LR round will burst and unravel in a .22 magnum chamber nearly every time. It will fire a bullet downrange though and accuracy will be poor.
The gasses will exit the burst cartridge, usually harmlessly though that is not guaranteed, and it it not advised as above.
However there are sleeves that can safely convert a .22 magnum chamber to use a .22 Long Rifle cartridge with no problems. The sleeve fits around the .22 LR cartridge.
The mini-mag should still be .22 LR.
IF the revolver is marked ".22 LR" yes. If it is marked ".22 WMR" or .22 Mag" or " .22 WRF", then NO.
No
No. .22 LR and .22 WMR (magnums) are not interchangeable. The .22 Mag is ot only longer, but larger diameter bore and cartridge case. If the LR round fires, it is likely to split the case, and accuracy will suck.
Not safely. The 22 lr is a slightly smaller case dimension, so it'll split in the cambe of a 22 mag gun, and vent gas out the back.
NO!...Absolutely Not!...Different size cartridges,like shooting a 30-30 in a 30-06,not a good idea,and has bad consiquences....
No. The R-101 was made in caliber .22 LR, which is a very different round from the .22 WMR. Later models of the High Standard Sentinel WERE made in .22 Mag, but if YOUR sidearm is not marked .22 Magnum or .22 WMR, do NOT try to fire them in it.

No, the 22 Mag will not fit.
No. The case of a 22 WMR is longer than that of a 22 lr, so the cartridge won't fit in a rifle that is chambered for 22 lr.
.22 mag and .22 LR are not the same. So, no.
Some revolvers are capable of firing both cartridges, simply by replacing the cylinder. Not all revolvers can do this, however. As for a dedicated .22LR firearm not fed from a cylinder, the answer is going to be no.
