No. The cartridges the two fire are significantly different. There are AK variants made for the 5.56x45 (.223) cartridge, such as the AK101, Rk.62/76, Beryl, etc., but the AK-74 can fire ONLY the 5.45x39 cartridge.
No.
5.56 and 223 cal. are the same cartridge...........
Yes it does, unless your barrel is stamped .223 .
Get a stoner 63 or AK74 u and shoot him. If you know he is somewhere, throw a samtex at his direction. Mabye put a gernade launcher on the ak74 u. Hope u KA
Yes, they do shoot the same projectile although the 22-250 takes a heavier charge of the same powder over the .223.
yes. the 5.56 is the 223 caliber ammo.
if it is a 223 cal, then yes
you can fire both 5.56 and .223 ammo in a rifle chambered in 5.56...but not the other way around! In a rifle marked .223, you should fire .223 ammo only
Of course you can. The .223 is the civilian version of the 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition. They are slightly different but the difference is constantly neglected due to the fact that it is safe to shoot. Hope this helps.
I assume that you are referring to 5.56mm in your question?,if so yes you can shoot this ammo in your rifle. The 5.56mm is the metric designation for the .223 Remington cartridge.
Yes, but the opposite may NOT be true. 5.56 x 45 should NOT be fired in a weapon chambered for .223.
Yes, you can shoot .223 Remington in a Colt M4, provided that the rifle is chambered for .223. However, it's important to note that many Colt M4 models are chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO, which is compatible with .223 Remington. Always check the specific markings on your firearm to ensure proper caliber use, and consult the manufacturer's guidelines for optimal performance and safety.
