The C4 sim card shows that ATT is the carrier for that certain phone. The T5 sim card shows that T-Mobile is the carrier for that phone. Tracfone borrows from other carriers to provide their service. If the tracfone has a C4 sim card then there will be a P4 at the end of the model number. If the tracfone has a T5 sim card then there will be a P5 at the end of the model number.

The TracFone / NET10 SIM Card is very unique. It can only be used in a phone sold by TracFone or NET10. Once a phone is activated the SIM Card is tied to the Serial Number of the phone. It can not be removed and placed in a different TracFone or NET10 phone. It has to stay with the phone it was originally activated in. The units/minutes are not stored on the SIM Card they are stored in the phone itself. The TracFone / NET10 SIM Card can not be used in any other GSM technology phone. TracFone and NET10 both have an elaborate database of all the phones they have ever sold in it. You can not activate a phone unless the Serial Number is in their database. Insert the SIM card into the phone and call TracFone preferably from someone else's phone or you should be able to call 611 from your phone if you don't have another option. Follow the menu instructions to activate and provide the AI or representative with as much information as you can. NOTE: It's very likely that you will have to get another SIM card due to the deactivation or the adoption of 5G.
