You must setup an Apple Account with your credit/debit card details. Then any apps you purchase using this account will be billed to your cred/debit card.
You can't purchase games using an iTunes gift card. Instead you need to use cash or credit which is why the page with your billing info appears. Your gift card will still get you music and such just not games and applications.
In order to buy games and other apps for the iPod Touch, you need to install iTunes. You can install iTunes from the website: iTunes.com. After you install iTunes, you need to go through some steps, like 'naming' your iPod, and putting in some billing info, like your credit card number. If you do not have a credit card, you can redeem a gift card. Once you have done this go to iTunes Store and click the App Store tab. There, you will find many, many apps. Then, search for the game you want, click the 'Buy' button, and you can buy it. But, at this point, it will not be on your iPod...yet. You need to use the USB cord, plug it into the USB port, and plug the other end into the iPod. Then, under the 'Devices' tab, you click on your iPod (listed as whatever you named it), and click the 'Sync' button. Then you wait until, up at the top, it reads "iPod sync is complete. OK to disconnect." Then you can disconnect your iPod and enjoy your new game(s). Hope this helped! - by R.M. Fulton, Huntington, IN, United States, North America
