Yes, walking can help you lose weight but how far and how often, that is the real question. If you are a walker, you'll lose weight even more. If you often have an opportunity to walk down the store or the park, that would be great. It would be even better if you use stairs instead of the elevator. Try to use the stairs as much as you can.
