I took a home pregnancy test because I 'just knew' I was pregnant! I felt exhausted all week and was SUPER sensitive to the smell of most foods, white out, gasoline (which I normally love, sick as that sounds),....I even could smell things in the room other people could not! This was all at about 3 weeks (as it turned out - I took the hpt at the start at week #4 and it was positive). I also kept putting my hands on my belly for comfort. I was all nurturing to that general area, but that may be because I detected these symptoms without out & out putting it together with "I think I'm pregnant", you know? Best of luck! thanks so much. if makes me happy to know it is normal...i have posted other questions maybe you can help me withsuch as.....talking in days not cycles how many DAYS should i wait to get a forsure yes or no? and also..can someone be 3 months pregnant and it still show negative on a home pt..i hurd this and am wondering?..thakns

Yes. Home pregnancy tests are not always accurate. Take multiple tests, or see a doctor. If you are far enough along in the pregnancy to be feeling movement from the fetus, then your belly should have started protruding.
Breasts can become tight due to hormonal changes, particularly during the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, or breastfeeding, which can cause swelling and increased sensitivity. Additionally, factors like weight fluctuations, certain medications, or fibrocystic breast changes can contribute to a feeling of tightness. In some cases, tightness may also be linked to muscle tension or postural issues. If the sensation persists or is accompanied by pain, it's advisable to consult a healthcare professional.
