Many believe that there is such thing as "love at first sight", and certainly this is possible, as love and the universe can work in magical ways. However, especially in youth, many confuse being in love with simply being infatuated with someone. There is a tremendous difference, the biggest being time.....love will stand the test of time, infatuation fades. So, in a way, it is very difficult to discern whether you have love "straight away" or not....but, nonetheless, it is possible!

It is possible to feel strong attraction or infatuation with someone upon first meeting them, however, true love typically takes time to develop as it requires getting to know the person on a deeper level. Instant feelings of love are more likely to be based on physical attraction or idealized perceptions rather than a deep emotional connection.
