Can you be pregnant if your period is 10 days late and you took a pregnancy test today and it came back negative?

Women miss their periods sometimes if they're stressed. If it came back negative it is pretty unlikely that you're pregnant. If you feel unsure just take another one, just in case.

Maybe you took the test too soon, its gotta be 2-3 weeks after conception. sounds like pregnancy. another good telltale is if your boobs are sore.

Take another test in 1 week, negative tests don't mean you are not pregnant, it just means your pregnancy hormones are not showing up yet (if you are pregnant). If you are still negative in a week and no period, then get a blood test.

I have the same problem and did the 2 pregnant tests too and they are both negative. However with the spot bleeding and missed period, i am not sure whether i am pregnant or i have vagina infection. Wait 5 weeks. it is possible for a home pregnancy test to detect the pregnancy hormone 8 days after conception. if you test too soon, it could read negative but you may actually be pregnant. it is safer to wait 14 days because after 8 days, the hormone may not be strong enough to detect!
