Marijuana could be deadly to iguanas. The chemicals that give a 'high' to a person can cause severe respiratory damage and will be absorbed by their skin, causing liver dysfunction.

Iguanas should not be exposed to any kind of smoke, including smoke from cigarettes, pans on the stove, pipes, or near fireplaces.

We just recently found ourselves what we believe to be an adolescent iguana. We captured it immediately smoked with it when the clock turned 4:20. There wasn't much of a noticeable effect. He was just as wild as he had been before. We then smoked with him a little later. We put him in a cup and clam baked it. Right after that we gave him about .1 g of marijuana to eat. After that he was noticeably sluggish and tried to climb in thin air while standing on his hind legs. So in our opinion we believe that lizards can get high from marijuana. Im from Tujunga Ca and when i would go to my friends house he had a iguana. it was in a big cage. it would always just lay around and not really move. when we would smoke pot for about an hour he would start to climb on top of the cage and start to climb on the glass.

If you're asking what feeding green marijuana leaves to an iguana would do, eating green marijuana leaves gives them the munchies (stimulates appetite) and has no ill effects. They seem to enjoy them as well, and the leaves technically are greens (illegal greens) and iguanas eat greens.
