Yes, there are gay men in ALL religions, but almost all branches of Islam believe homosexuality is a sin. Gay muslims must either hide, or move to non-muslim areas. There are also some small branches of liberal Islam that accept gay people.
In Iran the state religion is Muslim, and the Muslim is intolerant of all people they believe to be sinners. This includes homosexuals. For this reason, while it is still likely that approximately 10% of Iranian men are born gay as this seems to be the average elsewhere in the world, they do not allow their sexuality to be known.
None.
Gay men are already men.
First of all, there is no such thing as a "gay lifestyle." This is a derogatory term for a gay person's life. Second, gay Muslims must be secretive, because it's a violation of Islam. But yes, there are gay Muslims, and some of them are sexually active. However, it is a very small minority because of this requirement to be secretive, as a result, most Muslim men practice a fake heteronormative lifestyle. In North America, however, there is a growing movement of Liberal Muslims, who practice progressive Islam, which fully embraces and accepts women and gay people as equals.
The cast of I Am Gay and Muslim - 2012 includes: Rayan Rayan as Rayan
Gay men are individuals who are attracted to other men romantically and/or sexually. Sexual orientation (being gay) does not influence someone's gender identity (being a man). Men, whether straight or gay, identify as male based on their self-perception and expression.
When women are gay, they are interested in other women. When men are gay, they are intersted in other men
Only straight men hate being called gay. Most gay men prefer the term "gay."
Gay men usually chase other men.
When a Muslim becomes gay
About 3.5% to 8% of men are gay. That is a small minority.
There is no odor particular to gay men.
