Any topical anti-biotic such as bacitration, neosporin, or triple anti-biotic can be used for the first 3 days of your tattoo...The secret to using one of these is DO NOT USE VERY MUCH OF IT, in fact a good rule of thumb is IF YOU CAN SEE IT ON THERE, YOU GOT TOO MUCH....Never let it cake up if you use it 4-5 times a day be sure to wash the old off before you put the new on, otherwise you can create a playground for germs and bacteria. Also make sure you can use Neosporin or triple antibiotic before you use them on your new tattoo....Four out of every hundred people react to neomyacin one of the three parts of these products...Make sure you ain't one of them......

Now, before some amends this answer with the ol' A&D ploy, being: "Well you know baci and Neo are in a petroleum jelly base and that will draw out the ink".....Remember to turn over a tube of A&D and read the ingredients: Vitamins A&D in a petrolatum base....DUH!!

The real truth is Bacitration costs $40.00 for a 1 lb. tub, A&D is less than $5 for the same amount...Do the math, they are cheap s.o.b.'s
