No they are not dating. Noodle arrived on Murdoc's doorstep in a FedEx crate in response to their ad for a guitarist. She has been close with the band members for a long time but is significantly younger than them and is not dating anyone. Murdoc created cyborg noodle, but it was reported that Noodle destroyed cyborg noodle when she malfunctioned and attempted to kill Murdoc.

It's more of Murdoc Niccals loving Noodle, seeing as he was in a previous band with her. He also later (after losing her in EL MANA) created a cyborg version which gives the impression that he missed her, however, rumours have it he just created it for a slave. But considering that he was the one who got her into hell (and apparently getting her out), it seems unlikely. It's also doubtful that Murdoc and 2D are likely to break out in an argument over Noodle... In fact, although they seem like fighters, they are actually really good pals. In "The eel" they look argumentative, whereas behind all that if you type in on youtube "Murdoc and 2d's best moments" you'll see why.
Why does noodle from gorillaz wear a mask?
Hmmm.... I'm thinking she's trying to keep her face hidden from the people who are hunting her (the pirates and the helicopters from that one video). Also, I noticed both noodle and 2D are wearing Japanese masks, (2D's is from a festival and noodle's is an onii mask) and in some of the album artwork there's a picture of 2D and cyborg noodle (I think) at a shooting gallery at a carnival/ festival, so I'd like to think that's where they got them, but really, this is all just a hunch. Or she could be covering up her black eye, which is also in the album artwork.
