Approximately 1/4 million were made from 1932-1935. A couple variations were made including a NRA target model and a smooth bore. The code for the month / year is on the barrel left side maybe somewhat toward the bottom right before the receiver. The look-up for these codes can be found on the Remington Society's Date of Manufacture page here:

As to value these are not particularly valuable worth only a couple hundred in the very excellent to mint like new condition.
I'm not sure if all the Model 33's had a serial on not, certainly some where but prior to 1968 this was not required for rimfire. However the ones I have seen with a serial number it's on the receiver by the caliber.
AnswerNo. In my research into this question, they dont come with a Remington barrel, but they say that the Remington model 11 barrel is interchangeable with the Savage 720, and visa versa. They will not be interchangeable with the Browning A5 barrel.
The barrel date code is the primary method of dating a Remington. Of course, if the barrel is not the original barrel for the gun that complicates things. The Remington factory could probably date it by serial number. sales@countrygunsmith.net
The Remington Model 10 slide action has barrel lengths of 26" 28" 30" and 32"
