I have the original instructions for a Winchester Model 77 Automatic Tubular .22 rimfire rifle that uses a tubular magazine. I just recently inherited the rifle, but I remember that the rifle would not feed correctly without jamming the rounds as they fed into the chamber even when I used it as a kid. I have an original Winchester instruction sheet that measures 12 5/8 " by 11 " on a single sheet of paper (printed on both sides). It has very detailed instructions on how to "take down" and "Assemble" the rifle (way more detailed than anyone would put out today). I can send you a copy of the instructions if you send me a Stamped, Self Addressed, Envelope (S.S.A.E) or I'll try and digitally photo or scan the sheet and email it to you. What I would like in return of course is for you to let me know what you did to fix the problem. I have a email account of traderjoe1 at hot mail dot com that I'll check for the next week or two and I'll look for the phrase "Winchester 77 rifle" in the subject line. Jim - July 08, 2009
the Model 77 with magazine ( clip fed ) holds 7 rounds of long riflel only. The tube feed model I believe held 15 rounds.
Never heard of a Winchester model 80. There is a Marlin model 80.
Mossberg,Browning and Winchester are 3 possibles- but contact me with the MODEL number from the rifle, and we can tell.
Same choke tube as a 1200 or 1400 pump
You will need the help of a gunsmith.
Quite a few have, Winchester is one.
I have a CNC Billet Aluminum tube fed trigger guard for a Winchester model 77. I have then polished or hard black anoidzed.
What is a Winchester Model B? With a serial number that high, I think it could only be a Model 12 shotgun or a Model 94 rifle.
3 shot (1 in chamber & 2 in the tube)
Depends on the calibre of the rifle:Cartridge: 25-20 Winchester, 32-20 Winchester =.525 Magazine TubeCartridge: 25-35 Winchester, 30-30 Winchester, 32 Winchester Special, 32-40 Winchester, 38-40 Winchester, 38-55 Winchester, 44-40 Winchester, .44 Remington magnum, .45 long colt =.645 Magazine Tube
If your Winchester model 94 trapper is chambered for 30-30Win.Then the magazine capacity is 5 rounds. If your Winchester trapper is chambered for either the .44Mag/.44Spl.or the .45colt,then the magazine tube capacity is 9 rounds.
