∙ 13y agoAny solid dispersed in a solid cannot be considered a homogenous mixture, in the sense that it cannot be considered uniform. The dispersal of one type of nut around others will be non-uniform, so from a uniformity point, it is hetrogenous. Though there is another definition of heterogeneity, and that is whether all nuts are in the same state, so if there was no gas involved (unlikely), they would be in the same state, solid, so it could be considered homogenous in that regard.

∙ 10y agoAssorted nuts are a heterogeneous mixture because they contain different types of nuts with varying sizes, shapes, and compositions. This results in a mixture where the components are not uniform, making it heterogeneous.

It is a homegeneous mixture ( valid for chocolate without nuts, fruits, etc.)
No. This would be a heterogeneous mixture, because there are different types of nuts in the bowl.
heterogeneous
A heterogeneous mixture is composed of dissimilar components that are not uniformly distributed throughout the mixture. Examples include a salad with lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers all mixed together, or a jar filled with a combination of nuts and bolts.
A classic example of a heterogeneous mixture is a bowl of mixed nuts, where you can easily see and distinguish the different components (such as peanuts, almonds, and cashews) without them being fully dissolved or mixed together on a molecular level.

Mixed nuts are heterogeneous because they consist of a variety of different nuts with distinct shapes, sizes, and textures. Each nut in the mixture retains its own individual identity, making the overall composition heterogeneous.

Three types of heterogeneous mixtures are salad, trail mix, and granola.

A chocolate sundae is a heterogeneous mixture because it is made up of visibly different components such as ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and toppings like nuts or sprinkles. Each component retains its own properties and can be distinguished within the mixture.

Examples of heterogeneous mixtures include sand and water, salad with mixed vegetables, and a bowl of mixed nuts and bolts. These mixtures have visibly different components that are not uniformly distributed throughout.
