In my experience with muscle spasms in my calf, I and my toes are turned upward, I don't fight it, I don't try to straighten my toes, I force into the direction it wants to go. Otherwise the pain only gets worse. But if I force the way it wants to go, it will ease in a couple of minute's. The muscle will be sore for a few hours but it will go away pretty quickly. I hope it help someone.
In case of muscle cramp, try stretching and messaging your muscle. Non steroidal anti-inflammatory medications can also help in such a situation. Also, drink plenty of fluids while exercising and increase your potassium intake.

To help manage muscle spasms, you can try gentle stretching, massage, applying ice or heat, staying hydrated, and ensuring you're getting enough electrolytes like potassium and magnesium. If muscle spasms persist or are severe, it's best to consult a healthcare provider for further evaluation and treatment.
