Sociology is the study of human society, social behavior, and relationships. It focuses on the patterns of social life and how individuals are influenced by social forces. Biology, on the other hand, is the study of living organisms and their characteristics, functions, and interactions. It focuses on the physical, chemical, and genetic processes that govern life. Both disciplines offer unique perspectives on understanding human behavior and society.

There's quite a sharp divide; sociology concerns the study of human society, and hence it is a social science, whereas zoology is a subset of natural biology concerning the study of animals as a whole, as well as their habitats and effect on ecology.

I suppose there could be a inter-disciplinary study of animals' effect on human society (bio-socio-zoology?), but other than that they have little to no connection.
