He went back to the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, area and married and had a family. He played in local bands for awhile after leaving Poison. As far as I know, he works for a fire company in Linglestown, Pennsylvania now. Things seem to have worked out for Matt. I have read that his style of guitar had been heavier metal sound that CC Deville so in the long run maybe he wasn't destined to be the guitarist in Poison and did what he was meant to do elsewhere.
