yes this was common in the 60s and 70s . These were called EPs and contained usually 4 songs . The Beatles and Elvis had the most, they were singles re packeged and re issued on EPs, but were outside chart rules, so no chart positions were recorded. 2 did get to number 1 in the UK, Demis Roussos ,The Roussos Phenomen and The Specials live EP

It would depend on the record in question. Two song sided records are called EPs or Extended Play 45s. More detail is needed. The catalog number of the release, label (dog on top, dog on side, maroon or orange label). There are cover variations to that have more value than others. Then there is condition.
