On the right side of motor you will see a round piece on the side of the crankcase cover it has 2 screws in it remove 2 screws remove little cover and oil filter is behind it.

sometimes the petcock has a filter and that's in side the tank, just pull the 2 screws holding it and pull it out, oh and make sure your tank is empty.or just pull your fuel line off turn your petcock on and see if it dumps fuel.

What do you mean by settings? If your mean the air/fuel ratio turn the screw all the way in then turn out about 1/4 turn out this will get you close to where you need to be.
