You dont. State regulations may be different state to state , but usually they just want you to be a certain age! If your too young they dont want to because when you grow up or meet someone , your mind could change very fast!
Here the age is not important, but you have two or three children then you can go ahead and have your tubes tied for safety.
Its usually a matter of age and how many children you have, not age alone. Even so, anyone under say 23-25,should wait on that.
I believe that the younger you are when receiving such procedures the more likely your body is to reverse and mend it self back to its original state,

I am more than certain that the requirements, in Nevada, are that you must be at least the age of 24 and/or a mother of at least 3.
