This is not an accurate answer. The file size for the the app has not changed. It is only 3.5 MB in size and this is after downloading 29 movies of which more than 85% are HDX format. If they were stored in the app itself, this would have to be at least 30 GB in size and then some.
I just found them. They are in \Users\?username?\Library\Preferences\com.vud.air.Downloader\Local Store\
And the HDX versions are very large. Jurassic Park is 8.12 GB.
They appear under AppData\Roaming, in a folder named "com.vudu.air.Downloader"
