Either you choose a munchlax from the begining or you do a quest that you get after you beat darkrai once you go home inside your house and talk to your little sister and she'll say theres a robber in your room so yo go upstairs and instead it will be a munchlax and it wil ask to be your partner

Slather one of the trees in honey and then go back to it in 6 hours and hope for a munchlax. If one doesn't appear go to another tree and repeat :) Continue until you get lucky! If you want more than one then once you've found a munchlax repeat slathering on the same tree hope this clears it up

You can put honey on honey trees and if your lucky, I think there is a small chance a munchlax will be on the honey tree in 12 to 24 hours (press A in front of the honey tree when it is shaking). Honey trees are the golden colored trees.
