But despite that Obi-Wan's feelings for her were unbelievably strong, he decided to continue on with becoming a Jedi.

But Siri Tachi was killed before Obi-Wan's eyes and he almost fell to the dark side. And in the past 3 episodes of the new Clone Wars TV show, it was revealed that when Obi-Wan was an apprentice, he and Qui-Gon Jinn spent a year on the planet Mandalore and Obi-Wan fell deeply in love with the duchess. But even though his feelings for her were very strong, he decided to continue becoming a Jedi Knight.

Yes. Though it was never said, Obi Wan had always loved Padme. After falling in love with Anakin, Padme was torn between her two suitors.

In one scene in SW3 Revenge of the Sith, Obi Wan finds out that Anakin is the father of Padme's baby (not yet known to be twins). The story is that Jedi were not to love anyone in that way, to be warriors, so that could have been why Obi Wan was so upset. But it could have also been because he was jealous, disappointed because Padme chose Ani instead of him.
