Were to catch magmar
- After you beat Blaine the Cinnabar Island, go out side and you will see Bill.go up to him and he will offer you to visit the secret chain of islands.{Sevii Islands}
- After you take the boat to one island Bill will take you to Celio. He will ask you to go to the game corner in two island. Find the man's dauther but go east to find Kindle road. Use HM Surf and go up thru the water and grass but go to the cave neer the 3RD PATCH of grass. It is called the ember spa. go to all of the lakes in the cave but soon you will see your Pokemon healed.
- Get out of the cave and go through the water with HM Surf and go up the stairs. Then you will find MT. EMBER.
- Find your way thru the cave but check in the grass for a wild magmar. Use a lot of Ultra Balls.
You go to Mt Ember then go into the grass you can find magmar but it can be a little rare to find.
On Cinnabar Island, there's a mansion that boosts fire pokemon. Magmar around in there, but it's very rare. Patience will be needed here.
go to the zoo place (look at the far left side of your map) then go to the swamp tterrain I think or somthing!

You can catch Magmar in a tower named "The Burned Tower"
The Burned tower is located in Ecruteak City (Where the 4th Gym leader is)
You can also find Magmar in the Safari Zone, but he's easier to catch in The Burned Tower.

Magmar can't be found in FireRed you must get one from either LeafGreen or Pokemon XD Gale of Dakness, you can find Magmar in the grass of Mt. Ember.
in firered, u can't catch a magmar. you either have to trade from another game, or cheat. but I highly recommend u don't cheat. it is VERY bad 4 your game.
