That would depend on which translation or version you used.

For example: the New World Translation uses the word 'righteous' 481 times; and 'righteousness' 388 times.

The word 'righteous' is an English word.

The Hebrew words have the thought of "rectitude," "uprightness," indicating a standard or norm determining what is upright or proper - - - giving the term a somewhat legal flavor. (Of course in The Bible, it is mankind's maker, Jehovah God, who determines what is 'right' 'proper' 'legal' or 'just'.)

At times the same word is translated as 'justice'.

Four times the same term is used in business transactions and is rendered as 'accurate', as in "using accurate scales" to weigh something in determining a price for the items. (It would sound strange in English to say: "using righteous scales".)

('Righteous' is different from the word 'perfect'.)
