It has been said it is around the age of 32. But if you look at the way players are training and keeping in shape lately, the average age has increased a little bit. For example, Derek Jeter just had one of his most productive years (both on offense and defense) and he is going to be 36 years old next June.

There is no mandatory retirement age. A player retires when he either can no longer get a team to sign him or simply decides it's time.

there's no minimum, in fact most minor league players retire before even reaching the majors.
