When Elvis Presley was born he had a twin named Jessie Garren whom died at birth. His family grew up in the poorest parts of Tupelo , Mississippi and his father was in prison the first few years of his life. His family relied on donations from the local church and neighbors willing to lend a helping hand. While Elvis was in the army his mother died. Following his divorce from wife Prescilla he sunk into a deep depression and suffered from numerous medical problems the rest of his life.

By 1778 the war was over so they didn't face any hardships in battle or on the battlefield.
Elvis was a unique individual in many ways, but not unique in others. Mom had told me that Elvis was Native American, but it is difficult to really, truley know becuase he came into this world when acknowledging our Native Ancestory was on the DL because it was embarassing to state this. Mom, a tribal member from the Flathead reservation in Montana, worked tirelessly for her tribe. She had an ability of knowing things Native American that so many people did not. She said that the Missouri Natives were hit pretty hard by colonization and scattered into obscurity and/or isolated bands around the state. Elvis was born into poverty, and raised by a single mother. Though I do not truely know if Elvis was Native American, but I would be willing to bet that he was. Why? Because mother sais so.
high unemployment, high poverty and overpopulation was a problem. also, bad ages and high taxes. however, a range of different foods were brought over :)
