NO. They usually do NOT leave their wives. I think it's something like 3% of women who actually get to have a relationship with a man who leaves his wife. Men will often keep 'the other woman' stringing along for YEARS, lying and making promises that they know full well they will never keep. They want to have their cake and eat it too, so they will keep a mistress along for as long as she will put up with it.

I'm sure they sometimes do, but if he tells his 'other woman' that he's planning on it or just hasn't found the right time to do it chances are he's never going to. The other woman should just back away and get out of that type of relationship because even if he does leave his wife for the other woman, at some point he'll find another 'other woman'.

You will never hear men saying that they are sorry because the thrilled of being with new woman is what makes them alive. Even if the married man fell in love with his mistress, unless he never cared about his present wife and the kids, he will do everything in his power to be with his mistress. But if and when it comes to throwing away what he build with his wife he will rather leave his mistress so he wouldn't loose everything. After all if he wants to cheat again, he can do with another excited new mistress.
