Why do women like men with broad shoulders?

Broad shoulders are a typically masculine trait. The real question is "why do women like masculine men?" The answer is, not all do, but to a degree it may be hardwired into their psychology. Broad-shoulders/masculinity equates strength and virility. They are strong healthy stock and would give them strong healthy children as well as offer protection: something they reason they would be less likely to get from weaker, narrow-shouldered, girlie men.
