If you are very cold, you are not breathing properly, or your circulation is restricted, your oxygen levels may drop. When your blood is less oxygenated, the color of the blood becomes darker. When it is viewed in areas that the veins and capillaries are close to the surface, it will appear blue. This is especially noticeable in the fingers, toes, and lips.

It sounds like a bruise, did you bang it recently? If you did not bang it, then it could be a sign of poor circulation in that finger. If it does not turn normal color in a couple of days, see your doctor.

There are two reasons: A: Cells in your finger are dying, you should go see a doctor B: One veine was cut open... It should resorb in a few days...

Mine are not, but if yours are, then you are probably losing some circulation or are cold
