Social activity is a way for both semiconscious (animals) and full conscious organisms (humans) to interact with other members of their own species. Social interaction can be as complex as speech, simple as body language, or as instinctive as a reaction to pheromones. Specifically, social activity between humans can be very different depending on where you live in the world.
Physical activity stimulates the "happy chemicals" in your body and makes you more likely to talk or interact with people. When you are exercising you normally feel exited, until you are tired that is. Social health can rise with the more physical activity done.
The activity of cycling does not maintain homeostasis as such. Rather, it disrupts the body's natural homeostasis, however this can be beneficial as it helps stimulate the body to become strong and healthy.
