I would take them to the nearest emergency room and have a toxicology report done. If you suspect that this person has been poisoned the toxicology report should show with what and in what concentrations. In addition, I would report it to police after I got the toxicology report and let them investigate to find out how this person was exposed to poison.

Do not try CPR on the person. As the poison leaves the throat it will smear all over the throat and mouth making it worse. Immediately call 911 or poison control. If you have no access to a phone give them something that will make them vomit then make them drink moderately hot water (NOT BOILING the hot after it warms up setting on a fossit should do) for a few minutes. Even if they seem to be OK there is probably traces of it in there system. Make them use the toilet. Even after that it's best to call 911, remember you are not a professional and should only do this if absolutely necessary, and if it has been to long and poison has spread or you're just plain out of luck I'm sorry. If you have reason to believe that a person has been poisoned (conscious or otherwise), the FIRST THING you should do is CONTACT YOUR LOCAL POISON CONTROL CENTER.
This number can typically be found in the front pages of the telephone book.
If you can't find this number, immediately call 911.
If you know what the person may have been poisoned with, read the label for instructions specific to that product.
What you can do to help the person (aside from the above), is to stay with them, and talk to them. Check their eyes and skin for discoloring - blue lips and/or extremities can indicate that the person is having difficulty breathing.
Dial 911 then poison control.
