Well, you loose weight either by eating less or burning more calories.

Eating well and exercising moderately is definitely the healtiest way to loose weight. Moderate and consistent exercise is far more effective that strenuous and sporadic exercise.

Substituting driving by biking or walking helps alot, avoid sitting by the TV or computer for too long.

Stop drinking soda is an easy way to cut back calories, drinks generally don't make you full and therefore you drink it in larger quantities and don't realize that you are actually getting alot of calories. Keeping fat intake under 50-35% of your total calorie intake will also go a long way.
