I am doing PE GCSE in school and hopefully this will help you. If not email me, my address is at the bottom of this answer.

One of the big questions on everyone's mind is what does it mean to be healthy? According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) health is a complete state of physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease of infirmity.

I must say i do not entirely agree with this statement as it would mean if you had a mental disability or were not the most confident person in social situations then you would be classified as 'unhealthy'.

My advice to you would be to:

  • Avoid tobacco
  • Avoid violence
  • have regular exercise
  • Have a healthy diet
  • maintain a regular sleep pattern
  • Avoid TOO much junk food
  • exercise 3-5 times a week for at least 30 minutes
  • see doctor regularly
  • drink have your body weight of water
  • have a breakfast everyday
  • eat meals slowly and stop eating when hungry (this helps lose weight (; )

For you teenagers that don't do PE in school because you don't want to mess your hair or make-up are missing out!

PE in school is your only class to clear your head and have fun with friends.

Girls especially want to lose weight and stay healthy so PE in school is a great, fun and free way to do that.

I hope my answer told you what you wanted to know. if not you can email me on this address.
