Malnutrition by defination means:Lack of proper nutrition and lack of some vitamins. Malnutrition is called an "invisible" because, much like an iceberg, its deadly menace lies mostly hidden from view. Each year malnutrition is implicated in about 40% of the 11 million deaths of children under five in developing countries. it quietly steals away their energy, it gently restrains their growth, it gradually lowers their resistance and in both cause and consequence it is inextricably interlocked with illness and infection which both sharpen, and are sharpened by, malnutrition.
